Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at the age of 72. He was born in Manitowoc on August 19, 1951, to Marian (Taddy) and Ivan Gauthier. On September 26, 1970, Ed married Donna R. Tollefson and they moved to Texas briefly while he served in the Army and overseas in Korea. Ed and Donna then returned to Two Rivers where they raised their three children. Throughout his life he loved to hunt, fish, relax by the campfire and enjoy family time at his cottage in Crivitz.

Ed is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna; children Scott (Danyell) Gauthier, Sherrie (Jason) Thorpe, and Wendy (Andy) Mleziva; grandchildren Zack, Ohndrea (Elliott), Sydney (Matt), Dalton, Morgan (Frankie), Kylee, Jackson, Lillian, and Benjamin; great-grandchildren Adaline, James, Kinsley, Delilah, Sutton, Soren, Gage, Danyelle; siblings Phil (Kathy) and Dennis (Sue); and his beloved dog Rosie. He is also loved by other family and friends.

A Life Celebration Social for relatives and friends will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with Military Honors at 6 p.m., on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N.
