Edward B. LaCombe, age 91, formerly of St. Francis, died late Wednesday evening, December 27, 2017 at Northridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
He was born in Marinette on March 14, 1926, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Belland) LaCombe. Edward was drafted into the US Navy during WWII and served in the Phillipines. On June 25, 1955, he married Bernice Slavick in Menominee, Michigan. Together they shared 62 years of marriage. Edward was employed in the shipping department with Allen-Bradley for 41 years until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years: Bernice LaCombe, St. Francis; one daughter and son-in-law: Tina and Mark Giese, Cleveland; one son: Guy LaCombe, Crystal Falls, MI. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel, Manitowoc. Edward's wishes were to have no funeral services. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
