Eileen M. Scheffler's Obituary
Eileen M. Scheffler, age 86, of 820 North 8th Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, August 18, 2012 at her residence with her family by her side.
Eileen was born February 18, 1926 in Neenah, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Bernice Frea Paschke. She attended Neenah High School and graduated with the class of 1944. On October 25, 1947 she married Henry E. Scheffler at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Menasha, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1985. In past years Eileen enjoyed bowling and traveled with various bowling leagues. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting along with doing crossword puzzles and reading.
She is survived by her eight children: Cheryl Worley, Ripley, TN; Don Michael (Liz) Scheffler, Gurnee, IL; Bonnie (Steve) Griesbach, Manitowoc, WI; Patrick (Marcie) Scheffler, Boise, ID; Janine (Dr. James) Atchison, St. Louis, MO; Susan (Salvador) Velasques, Manitowoc, WI; Kay Lynn (Jose) Leon, Two Harbors, MN; Robert (Jean) Scheffler, Anoka, MN; twenty two grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, one sister: Jean Sahli, Appleton, WI; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Bernice Paschke; husband: Henry; two brothers, two sisters, one grandson.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2012 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Bob Lantz. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Burial of the cremated remains will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Menasha, WI. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00. Immediately following the funeral services there will be a luncheon at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
