Elaine M. Sepnesky, age 93, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Thursday afternoon, September 4, 2024 at her residence with family by her side.
Elaine was born on September 28, 1930 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Paul and Viola Staudinger Fricke. Elaine was a long-time employee of the Manitowoc Clinic from where she retired in 1993. On October 1, 1955 she married Eugene F. Sepnesky in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on February 7, 2007. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, the Association of the Developmentally Disabled of Manitowoc County and the Manitowoc Senior Center.
She is survived by three children, Gerard Sepnesky and Mary Jo Sepnesky both of Manitowoc and Susan Sepnesky of West Bend, nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Viola Fricke, step father, William Pietras, husband, Eugene, brother, Paul Fricke, and sister, Shirley Shebesta Kent.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, September 9, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Jason Blahnik. Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Manitowoc. Following the funeral service at church there will be a luncheon held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
