Elaine P. Sieker, age 101, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at River Woods Place.
Elaine was born on December 15, 1918 in the Town of Centerville, WI to the late Alfred and Louise (Wiegand) Lorfeld. On September 18, 1937, Elaine married Vincent H. Sieker in Cleveland, WI. He preceded her in death on July 28, 2001. She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family. Elaine was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Survivors include Elaine's five children, Ann (Harold) Luebke, Valders; Alan (Marlene) Sieker, Manitowoc; Ronald (Doris) Sieker, Green Bay; Karen (Richard) Stubbe-Christensen, Two Rivers; and Terry (Linda) Sieker, Greenleaf; 16 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 13 great great grandchildren and one on the way; sister-in-law, Lillian Lorfeld, Sheboygan; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Louisa Lorfeld; husband, Vincent; three brothers, Edward (Mildred), Robert (Bernett), and Glen Lorfeld; two sisters, Delores (Willard) Beuchel and Marjorie (Elwood "Butch") Krueger; daughter, Judith (Robert) Lischka; and son-in-law, Richard Stubbe.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 11303 Wehausen Road, Manitowoc. Rev. Gregory Pope will officiate with burial to take place at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. There will be no luncheon following the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials in Elaine's name to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church or Manitowoc Lutheran High School.
Elaine's family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staffs of Riverwoods Place and Southern Care Hospice for all of the care they provided. Also, special thanks to Rev. Gregory Pope for everything that he did for Elaine.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11 th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
