Elva L. Ellert , a Manitowoc resident, entered into eternal life on Friday, December 21, 2012.

Elva was born on May 28, 1920 in the Town of Liberty. She was the daughter of the late Walter and
Anna Zimmermann Lutze. On June 7, 1941 she married William K. Ellert at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in the town of Liberty. He preceded her in death on January 19, 1980. Elva was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church.

She is survived by two daughters: Donna and Marjorie; one son-in-law: Gordon; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one grandson, one sister, one niece and one brother-in-law.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Pastor Benjamin Schaefer with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at Frist German Ev. Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 1:00P.M.

Memorial would be appreciated to First German Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc Lutheran High School or the donor's choice.

The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to the staff at Laural Grove Assisted Living, St. Mary's Home at Felician Village and the Manitowoc Health and Rehabilitation Center for the care and compassion that was given to Elva while she was under their care.
