Eric T. Shoman was born on January 25, 1987 and passed away at his home on October 7, 2022.  He had a long battle with addiction and lost his battle.  Eric had a tremendous love for children, especially his step-kids, as well as a special bond he shared with his niece, Sofia Seefeldt.  He loved being outdoors, disc golfing, camping with family, hanging out with friends, building his car audio system, and spending time with family.

While growing up in Manitowoc, Eric attended Lincoln High School.  He will be remembered as a bright and fun-loving man that would do anything for anyone if he could.  Eric took pride in the life he had with his fiancée, Stephanie, and her kids.  Although he never had kids himself, it never stopped him from believing they were his own.  Eric was able to make friends wherever he went, including at WAF, where he worked for a short time, but made some great friends.

Survivors include his parents, Rick and Kathie Shoman; brothers, Corey (Mary) Hamachek, Shawn Hamachek, and Justin Shoman; fiancée, Stephanie Copus; step-children, Shane and Mackenzie Copus; and aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hammy and Jean Hamachek; paternal grandparents, Leslie and Mary Shoman; life-long friend, Kevin Rezachek; and beloved dog, Makayla.

A Celebration of Life will be held beginning at 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the Lincoln Park Fieldhouse, 1215 North 8 ^th Street, Manitowoc.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com .
