Esther L. Laude, age 83, a resident of Manitowoc, and formerly of Weyauwega and Wittenberg, entered eternal life while surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Artisan Senior Living in Manitowoc.

Estie was born on June 22, 1932 at her family farm in Elderon to the late Gustave and Cora Lunde Norrbom. She graduated from Wittenberg High School with the class of 1950. On October 12, 1952, she married John A. Laude at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wittenberg. After being a United States Air Force wife for six years, Estie was an excellent homemaker and also worked as a pharmacy clerk. In her retirement years in Arizona, she was a sales person at Mesa Market Place. Estie enjoyed baking and cooking for her family, going on camping trips, and spending her retirement years in Arizona where she loved the Superstition Mountain which she called "her mountain". Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Survivors include Estie's husband of 63 years: John; two children: Debra (Terry) Schimmel, Manitowoc; and Dana (April) Laude, Fond du Lac; five grandchildren: Andrew Harrigan, Lindsay Harrigan, Alexa Schimmel , Erik Wastel, and Kyle Laude; three great grandchildren: Jada, Evan and Whitaker; brothers: Lyle (Leone) Norrbom, Cape May, NJ; Carl (June) Norrbom, Weston; and David (Kay) Norrbom, Eland; also other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gustave and Cora Norrbom; sister: Arla Breske ; two nephews: Loren Norrbom and Joel Breske;and father-in-law and mother-in-law: Alvin and Clara "Busha" Laude.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, W18205 College Avenue, Wittenberg. Rev. Amy Meyer will officiate with burial to follow at Redeemer Lutheran Parish Cemetery. The family will greet relatives and friends at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at noon.
