Ethan Grover Cizauskas found his peace on December 21, 2025, at the age of 29. Born in Sheboygan on March 12, 1996, to Laurel (Heinig) and Michael Cizauskas, Ethan lived a life full of passion and dedication. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Manitowoc in 2014 and soon after enlisted in the US Army, where he served with distinction as part of the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg. During his service, he married his high school sweetheart, Destiny Mott, on June 25, 2016. Ethan concluded his military career at Fort Riley, KS, in the Commanding Generals Mounted Color Guard, before returning to Manitowoc with Destiny.

Back home, Ethan pursued his love for horses at Kohler Stables. He was known for his love of cars, dancing, spending time outdoors, and his generous spirit. Ethan is survived by his loving wife Destiny and their cherished pets Lana, Archer, and Kiowa; his mother Laurel Cizauskas; siblings Samantha (Steve Rathsack) Theis and Izaac (Brittany) Cizauskas; parents-in-law Curt and Ivonne Mott; brothers-in-law Angel Mott and Cedric Mott; and G'Ma Maria (Todd) Hansen. He is also remembered fondly by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Ethan was preceded in death by his father Michael Cizauskas and infant nephews Dually and Colten Theis.

Cremation has taken place at Harrigan Parkside Crematory Chapel. Family and friends are invited to gather at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, on Saturday, December 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 12:45 PM, with a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Military honors will follow the service, and a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center.
