Ethel Lola Jensen, age 88, a resident of Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2010 at the rehabilitation center surrounded by her family.
Ethel was born on June 19, 1922 in Garnet, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Elsye (Addington) Yeadon. Ethel met and married Andre' Sinnaeve in 1937. They loved to work side by side in her brother-in-law Elmer's restaurant, baking and cooking. Together they raised eight children in Escanaba, Michigan. Years after the death of her husband, Ethel met and married John Jensen. They were together 25 years until his death. Ethel's joy in life was her family and her volunteer bible education work. She dedicated her life to Jehovah God through water baptism in 1958. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses by faith.
She is survived by her children: Carol (Dennis ) Olson, Manitowoc, WI; Gail (Mel) Ericson, Tyler, TX; Daniel (Nancy) Sinnaeve, Manitowoc, WI; Mary (John) Caswell, Escanaba, MI; Cindy (Sandor) Rakovszky, Manitowoc, WI; daughter-in-law: Anita Sinnaeve, Whitelaw, WI; son-in-law: Greg (Karen) Pepin, Iron Mountain, MI; sister: Dorothy (Cliff) Fair; Newberry, MI; 23 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren other relatives and many special friends from the Appleton congregations. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son: Jerry Sinnaeve; two daughters: JoAnne Pepin and June Frizzell; one son-in-law: Jake Frizzell, two brothers and five sisters.
Family and friends will be gathering for a memorial service to remember our beloved mother, grandmother and friend at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4915 Hecker Road, Manitowoc, on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank the special friends that she made at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center and Aurora Hospice.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
