Evangeline M. Seidl age 96, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.

Evangeline was born March 13, 1917 in the town of Kossuth, Manitowoc County. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Barbara Leitermann Seidl. Evangeline was employed with the telephone company in Manitowoc as a switchboard operator for many years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Daughters of Isabella.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law: Marcella and Melvin Krejcarek, Manitowoc, WI; a special niece: Kay Christel, Manitowoc, WI; along with many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Barbara Seidl; five sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2013 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo, 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to follow at St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery, Francis Creek. Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 10:00 a.m.
