Evelyn M. Johnson, age 73, who resided at River Hill Apartments, 1500 North 3rd Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Sunday, May 8, 2011 at her residence.

Evelyn was born May 6, 1938 in Blue Island, Illinois. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel Johnson. Evelyn had been employed at Paragon Electric in Two Rivers and Holiday House of Manitowoc. She was married to Robert Zettel for 18 years. He preceded her in death on October 9, 2006. Evelyn enjoyed doing puzzles and bird watching along with collecting dolls and angels.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Peter and Doreen Zettel, Two Rivers, WI; David and Lisa Zettel, West Allis, WI; three daughters and one son-in-law: Cynthia and Brian Schwahert, Two Rivers, WI; Candace Zettel and her fiancé Gary Doherty, Spencer, WI; Karen Zettel and her fiancé Randy Malzahn, Merrill, WI; one brother and sister-in-law: William and Kathy Johnson, CA; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, May 12, 2011 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Deacon Kenneth Nelesen officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at 11:00.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
