Faye (Kautsky) Sosnosky, age 77, of 943 North 23rd Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Monday morning, January 3, 2011 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center in Manitowoc.
Faye was born on September 3, 1933 in Manitowoc, WI. She was the daughter of the late Lester and Libby Hrudka Kautsky. Faye was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1952. She continued her education at Manitowoc County Normal Teachers College. On May 17, 1954 she married Glenn Sosnosky. Faye enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking, craftwork, sewing and quilting for her family. Faye also enjoyed summers at their cottage on Legend Lake and their winters in Green Valley, Arizona.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years: Glenn Sosnosky Sr., Manitowoc; three sons and daughters-in-law: Glenn and Ann Sosnosky Jr., Mishicot, WI; Mathew and Mary Sosnosky, Two Rivers, WI; Robert and Terri Sosnosky, Two Rivers, WI; three daughters and sons-in-law: Sheryl and Roger Siddons, Wautoma, WI; Kay and David Schmitz, Sheboygan, WI; Mary and Steve Eis, Two Rivers, WI; 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law: Lester and Louise Kautsky, CA; four sisters and 2 brothers-in-law: Mary McKeel, OR; Pauline Huebner, AZ; Joan and Dick Toltzmann, AZ; June and Don Powers, CA; sister-in-law: Genevieve Kautsky, Fond du Lac, WI; 2 brothers-in-law: Jack (Jacque) Sosnosky, Two Rivers, WI; Paul (Judy) Sosnosky, Newton, WI; sister-in-law: Jean (Vergetis) Sosnosky, AZ; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one son: Thomas; one sister; Lorraine Kliment; one brother: Frank Kautsky; two nephews: Mark Toltzmann and Lester Kautsky Jr.; and four brothers-in-law.
A private bedside service was held with the family Monday morning, January 3, 2011 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc. A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the caregivers at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center for their compassionate care.
A memorial fund is being established in Faye's name.
Her diminished size is in me, not in her. And just at the moment when someone at my side says: "There, she is gone!" there are other eyes watching her coming, and other voices ready to take up the glad shout: "Here she comes!"
