Filip Skidan Jr., age 66, a Two Rivers resident, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, September 25, 2022.

He was born July 9, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI. He attended High School before joining the United States Marines in the mid 1970's. After serving in the Marines, he went on to drive truck for roughly 30 years until he retired from work at the age of 59.

Filip loved the outdoors. His favorite times were spent up north on Lake Gogebic. He loved to fish, hunt, and take long walks with his dog. Everyone who knew Filip, knew his pride and joy were his two dogs, Tucker and Tigger. He loved cars, and loved to go to car shows. He would tell you all he could about every old classic model. Filip was very creative, he always had lots of ideas, and loved to work on his crafts. Filip was a person who always knew someone anywhere he went, He loved to tell stories, and had a great sense of humor.

Filip is survived by his three children: Madeline Skidan, Logan Skidan and  Joe Halphide; his half-brother: Peter Taraban; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Filip Skidan Sr. and Emmi Skidan (Nuhn) and one brother: Herbert Skidan.

Per Filip's wishes, cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory of Manitowoc, and there will be no services.
