Obituary

Frank Polc, age 92, of 919 North 5th Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life early Tuesday morning, November 12, 2013 at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center, Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Frank was born April 27, 1921 in Trbovlje, Slovenia. He was the son of the late Frank and Franceska Polc Rebol. Frank served overseas with the United States Army during World War Il. After his honorable discharge he returned to the Manitowoc area and became employed with his brother at the Oral Arts Dental Lab which Frank eventually took over the business ownership which then became known as Polc Dental Lab. Frank operated the business for 32 years retiring in 1983. On June 5, 1948 he married Gwendolyn Draheim at First German Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. Frank was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church. He enjoyed playing the piano and composing music.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Gwen; two daughters and sons-in-law: Linda and David Johnson, Manitowoc, Wisconsin; Donna and David Klein, Libertyville, Illinois; two grandsons: Eric and Patrick Klein.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, 1033 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. Benjamin Schaefer with burial to take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at First German Ev. Lutheran Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.
