Gerald L. Rauber, age 80, a resident of Reedsville, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Gerald was born on August 5, 1943, to the late Leland and Clara Rauber. Following high school, Gerald joined the United States Air Force and upon return from service he came back to Manitowoc and became a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker. He worked for Tecumseh for many years then finished his career working at Mercury Marine. Throughout his life Gerald had many different hobbies including scuba diving in his younger years, multiple cross-country motorcycle trips, and sailing on Lake Winnebago and Lake Michigan. In his spare time, he also enjoyed wood carving, hunting, and was an avid firearm enthusiast.

Survivors include one daughter: Barb, and her son Brandon; one son: Tad (Jill), and their children Ethan and Seth; special friend: Cyndi; and Gerald's faithful and loving companion Skipper, his dog. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Lee; and two brothers: Roger and Bill.

Cremation has taken place at The Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. In accordance with Gerald's wishes no services will be held. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com.
