Glenn A. Helgerson, age 70, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Thursday, August 8, 2024 at his home.

He was born April 27, 1954 in Manitowoc, son of the late Glenn J. and Lillian (Kalista) Helgerson. Glenn attended Lincoln High School, graduating with the class of 1973. He was employed at Labcorp Plastics. He then owned and operated Glenn's Bar of Manitowoc for many years until his retirement.

Glenn is survived by his sister: Mary (Brian) Seiler, Manitowoc; brother: Tom (Leanne) Helgerson, Manitowoc; and nieces and nephews: Margot (Bill) Knoble and their son Oliver, Gage Helgerson, Alan (Terry) Risch, Steven (Pascale) Risch, and Brian (Kristin) Risch. He is further survived by other relatives and the many friends and patrons he met over the years while operating Glenn's bar. He was preceded in death by his parents: Glenn J. and Lillian Helgerson; one sister and brother-in-law: Judy (Bob) Risch; and two brothers: Ted and Jim Helgerson.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a celebration of life will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Train Wreck Bar and Grill (formerly Glenn's Bar), 835 South 15th Street, Manitowoc, from 4:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A private family burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc at a later date.
