Gracie Marie Clark went to Heaven on August 6, 2026, at age 17. Gracie was born on June 3, 2009, in Coldwater, Michigan, to her parents Ashley Brown and Michael Clark.
Gracie had the most beautiful soul. Any room she rolled in, she lit up with her contagious smile and laugh. Gracie showed her strength just hours after being born, by holding her head up. She was the most precious baby. Always smiling and laughing that big belly laugh.
Gracie enjoyed playing with anything she could throw! She had a great arm too! She loved getting mail and being read to. Gracie loved going bye bye. Her most favorite word was "Go" then "Yay"! She enjoyed going shopping, zoos, parks, walks, and for rides. Gracie loved music so much, Vanilla Ice, Eddie Murphy, Elvis, and rock 'n' roll! She enjoyed SpongeBob and Loud House as her favorite shows, Lilo and Stitch and The Santa Clause as her favorite movies.
Gracie endured a lot of medical complications and diagnoses. Through each one she showed true strength, courage, faith, and resilience. Gracie knows Jesus and would help her mama pray everyday. Through her strength she made us strong, too.
Gracie loves her family, friends, and doggies so much. She showed us unconditional love and just how beautiful life can truly be.
On angel's wings, our loved one flies, with graceful speed to Heaven's skies. To God's embrace and words "Well done, Welcome home, my faithful one."
Gracie is survived by her mother Ashley, father Michael, grandparents Mike and Vicki Brown; uncles CJ (Kelli) Brown, Jared (Liberty) Brown, and Michael (Carisa) Brown; cousins Cheyenne, Kenyon, and Ava; close family friends Carol, Joe, and Jerome; as well as other relatives and many friends. Gracie was preceded in death by great-grandparents David and Lorena Brown, Patty Grubor, and Jose Garcia; great-uncle Jose Garcia III; and great-aunt Sophia Garcia.
A Private Celebration of Gracie's Life will be held at a later date.
