Gregory A. Roberts, age 78, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life while surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.

Greg was born on August 31, 1946 in Madison, WI to the late George and Marjorie (Patton) Roberts.  He graduated from Denmark High School with the class of 1964.  On September 21, 1968, Greg married the love of his life, Lila Kittell at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Shirley, WI.  He had served in the United States National Guard.  From the age of 18, Greg began working through the ranks at Montgomery Ward in Green Bay and Manitowoc until achieving the position of Automotive Manager after nearly 40 years of dedication.  He went on to work at First Chrysler in Manitowoc from where he retired.  Greg was an avid fastpitch softball player, coach and spectator.  Alongside his four brothers, Greg was a proud inductee of the Circle Tap Hall of Fame in 2020.  In his spare time, Greg loved to fish (but not eat them).  Above all, he enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends.

Survivors include Greg's wife of 56 years, Lila; three beautiful daughters, Krista (Todd) Weston, Rebecca (Brian) Markusen, and Melissa (Robert Jolin) Roberts; four grandchildren, Hannah (Mitchell) Lahmann, Madeline Weston and her fiancé Shawn Heroor, Caelan Markusen, and Ian Markusen; grand dog, Lexi Daisy Jolin; great granddaughter, Nora Madeline Lahmann; four brothers, Garry (Joann) Roberts, John (Donna) Roberts, Brian (Patty) Roberts, and Charlie Roberts; sister, Janet (Frank) Leiterman; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 916 Pine Street, Manitowoc, with Rev. Paul Bowe officiating.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  The family will greet relatives and friends at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church on Monday, August 11, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m.  Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
