Guy P. Schuette, age 59, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in Manitowoc.
Guy was born on February 7, 1956 in Two Rivers. He was the son of the late Erwin and Josephine Graczykowski Schuette Sr. Guy graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1974. On January 10, 1993 he married the former Katherine Cisler. Guy owned and operated Guy Schuette Builders in Manitowoc for over 40 years. His passion all of his life was working with wood. Guy was an avid sports fan and enjoyed following the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife: Kathy; one son: Brett of Manitowoc; one daughter: Rebecca of LaCrosse; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Mary Hebert, Manitowoc; Jacquelyn Schroeder, Manitowoc; Karen (James) Tuschl, New Franken; four brothers and sisters-in-law: Erwin (Sharon) Schuette Jr., Manitowoc; James Schuette, Manitowoc; Robert (Clare) Schuette, Manitowoc; Gregory (Jane) Schuette, Manitowoc; and Elizabeth Schuette, Manitowoc; his mother-in-law: Marie Cisler, Two Rivers; five brothers-in-law: Mike (Sue) Cisler, Manitowoc; Pat (Laurie) Cisler, Two Rivers; Greg (Debbie) Cisler, Two Rivers; Vince Cisler, Two Rives; Jeff (Mary) Cisler, Two Rivers; two sisters-in-law: Mary (Richard) Einwald, Medina, OH; Christine Cisler, Two Rivers; godson: Jon Schuette, Maricopa, AZ; goddaughter: Miranda Cisler, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Erwin and Josephine Schuette Sr.; father-in-law: Joseph Cisler; three sisters: June Anthony, Nancy Lee, and JoAnn Thom; one brother: Jerome Schuette; one special godson: Rob Schuette; one nephew: Ken Schroeder.
Memorial services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Beaudry. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. Following the memorial services there will be a Life Celebration Social for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
