Harry W. Thompto, age 66, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life while surrounded with his family on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Harry was born on March 19, 1952 in Beloit to the late Harry E.and Shirley Matzke Thompto. He graduated from Homestead High School in Mequon. On October 19, 1974, Harry married Joni Drehfal at Trinity Lutheran Freistadt Church in Mequon. He had been employed at M.W. Kasch Distribution and Delphi Corporation for many years. Harry enjoyed spending his time painting, fishing, gardening, and being outdoors by his land.
Survivors include Harry's wife of 43 years, Joni; son, Tayler Thompto, Manitowoc; sister, Ann (Sal) San Felipo, Cedarburg; brother, Guy (Diana) Thompto, Cedarburg; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Ruth Drehfal, Manitowoc; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law to include: Michael (Pamela) Drehfal, Oconomowoc; Thomas (Marjorie) Drehfal, Mequon; Jill (Ed) Klotz, Eau Claire; and Julie (Gary) Bump, West Bend; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harry was preceded in death by his twin sons, Brandon and Brent; and sister-in-law, Jane Walker.
Memorial services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Hirssig officiating. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.
