She enjoyed spending time with her sons, family members, and friends at Red Arrow Park feeding the birds and playing baseball. Heather also enjoyed playing with her dog and cat, bike riding, reading, and working on her computer. She loved to cook and received a degree in Hotel Management.

She is survived by two sons: Alex and Anthony Gauger, Manitowoc; her parents: Will and Carol Gauger, Manitowoc; aunts and uncles to include: Eileen and Harvey Mleziva and their children, Bonnie Brennan (Godmother), Sue Rudin, William Brennan, Laurie Wegforth, Maureen and Dennis Lehman and their children, David Anderson and his children, along with nieces, other relatives and many special friends also surviving. Not flesh of our flesh,
Not bone of our bones,
But because of God's love,
She was our precious own.
