Irene M. Braun, age 67, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.

Irene was born on October 8, 1957 , to Jane (Schmitt) and John "Artie" Kraemer in Manitowoc. She graduated from Lincoln High School. Irene worked for 20+ years as a worker and then manager at Kentucky Fried Chicken in Manitowoc. She loved playing games on her Kindle, walking to Walmart to find a good deal, and going to rummage sales all around town with her rummage buddy Kim. Her favorite activity was spending time with Aleah, the family dog. She was a responsible and caring person who took good care of her loved ones.

Survivors include Irene's significant other of 12 years, Lonn Felber; brother Mark (Kathy) Kraemer; nieces Heather (Randy) Strand and Cayla (significant other Joe Higgins) Richardson; great nieces and nephew Chassidy and Dakota Richardson, Kiana and Ryder Strand; and other relatives and friends. Irene will also be missed by her fur baby Aleah and very special friend Kim Reinl. She was preceded in death by her parents, John "Artie" and Jane Kraemer.

Cremation has occurred at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel. In keeping with Irene's wishes, no services will be held. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
