Irene D. Ramseur, of the Gardens at Felician Village, Manitowoc, went home to her Savior Jesus early Wednesday morning, January 4, 2012 at St. Mary's Home at Felician Village, Manitowoc.

Irene was born April 18, 1927 in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Carl and Martha Huebner Radtke. Irene became a child of God through baptism and professed her life long faithfulness through her Lord and Savior at her confirmation at First Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. On October 16, 1948 she married Edgar Ramseur at First Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2001. Irene was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law: David and Connie Ramseur, Manitowoc, WI; special nephew: Jim (Nancy) Huebner, Mesa, AZ; special friend: Gladie Schneider, Manitowoc, WI; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Carl and Martha Radtke; husband: Edgar Ramseur; daughter: Christine Ramseur on February 5, 1995; one sister: Elfreida Huebner.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday January 6, 2012 at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 916 Pine Street, Manitowoc. Officiating will be Rev. Paul Schossow and Rev. Nicholas Maglietto with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Relatives and friends may call at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be directed to Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
