Jacob William Witbracht

Jacob William Witbracht, 28, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on September 30, 2026, in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Jacob was born in Key West, Florida, to Chad and Tina Witbracht on October 10, 1997. He attended high school in Pensacola, Florida. He served in the United States Navy, and it was while stationed in Iwakuni, Japan, that he married Noeli on February 8, 2022. Their son, Leon

William, was born on October 9, 2022, and was the center of Jacob's world.

Jacob loved to cook, and he was happiest when he was feeding the people he cared about. He enjoyed fast cars and fishing. He found peace in nature and the outdoors. Most of all, he treasured his family.


Jacob is survived by his wife, Noeli; son, Leon; sister, Rachel Witbracht; parents, Chad and Tina Witbracht; mother- and father-in-law, Gina and Mike Madrigal; and sister-in-law, Ilari Madrigal.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Altmeyer Funeral Home in Chesapeake, Virginia.


Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 8100 Brunner Rd, in Newton, Wisconsin. Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a Rosary prayer from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 noon. Military Honors and burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) at taps.org, in Jacob's memory.
