James H. Eberhardt, age 70, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, February 2, 2019.

Jim was born on January 27, 1949 in Manitowoc. He was the son of the late Henry and Elda Halverson  Eberhardt.  Jim attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1967.  He continued his education at Lakeshore Technical College where he received his Associate Degree in Mechanical Design.  Jim then entered the United States Air Force in July 1969 and served overseas in Okinawa, Japan.  After his honorable discharge in 1973, Jim returned to Manitowoc and became employed with Hamilton Industries in Two Rivers from August 1973 until he retired in 2003.  Jim was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church.  He loved sports, especially following the Green Bay Packers, and enjoyed the great outdoors.

He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law: Ronald and Corinna Eberhardt, Manitowoc; two nieces:  Virginia (Joel) Pruitt and Kathleen Eberhardt; two grandnephews:  Jason and Wyatt Pruitt; one sister:  Carol Eberhardt, Manitowoc; along with other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elda Eberhardt.

Private memorial services for the family will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel, 612 North Water Street, Manitowoc, with Rev. Mark Johnston officiating. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Following the memorial services military honors will be provided by the American Legion Drews Bleser Post #88.  Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhomecom .
