James "JJ" Horbeck, age 50, of 615 North 5th Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the family residence.

JJ was born December 28, 1959 in Indiana. He is the son of Lila Bennin Horbeck and the late James Horbeck Sr. JJ attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1977. He was employed with Weyerhauser for over 20 years retiring in 1999. He then became employed with Custom Built Computers for a couple of years and at the present time JJ was employed with First American Title Company in Manitowoc. On July 1, 2000 he married Linda Rosinsky in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his wife: Linda; his mother: Lila Horbeck, Manitowoc; one step son: Scott Schneider, Manitowoc; one step daughter: Stephanie Schneider, Manitowoc; step grandson: Taylor; one brother: Jay Horbeck, Manitowoc; 2 sisters: Lori Burt, Manitowoc; Lisa (David) Dageau, Green Bay, WI; 1 niece: Falynne Gerisch; 1 nephew: Alex Gerisch; his pet dog: Brandi Sue; along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: James Horbeck Sr.; one brother in infancy: Jeffrey Scott Horbeck.

Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Cremation will have taken place.

The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
