James (Lucky, Jim) Luchsinger was married to Dori for 47 years. They have one daughter Kristie (Zeth) Lampereur and two beloved grandsons Zeth Jr. and Zackery Lampereur. The boys spent a good portion of their childhood at our house. He is survived by his mother Joan Luchsinger, his mother-in-law Geneva Dueno, ten brothers and sisters and six bothers-in-law and sister-in-law. He was preceded in death by his father Gilbert Luchsinger, his father-in-law Walter Dueno Sr, a brother, a sister and a brother-in-law.

Jim was always ready to help anyone who needed him. He could fix just about anything around the house and if he didn't know how, he knew just who to call. He was a carpenter and loved to garden. The last ten years after he retired he did most of the cooking and laundry because I was still working. He shook dice at Linebacker every Tuesday and liked to gamble. He loved to go out for fish every Friday and breakfast every Sunday.

Celebration of life for Jim will be January 17, 2026. Visitation at 12:00 noon with a Service at 1:00 p.m., with a lunch to follow the service, at Connection Church, 1455 N. Rapids Road, Manitowoc, WI  54220.
