Jan R. Divelbiss, age 73, of Cleveland, entered eternal life while surrounded by family on July 27, 2016 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay.
Jan was born on January 5, 1943 in Yankton, S.D. to Angela Cwach Lindstrom and the late Marvin Lindstrom. After graduating from Yankton Sacred Heart School, she completed her education at Mount Marty College in Yankton. On January 30, 1988, Jan married Tim Divelbiss in Grayslake, IL. Jan had worked for 35 years as a histologist and began her career in Evanston, IL and retired from Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, IL.
Survivors include Jan's husband of 28 years: Tim; two daughters: Anita (Phillip) Kotz, Waukesha; and Kelly (Colin) Farmbrough, Round Lake, IL; mother: Angela Lindstrom, Yankton, S.D.; six grandchildren; two step-daughters: Amanda (Howard) Wade, Winthrop Harbor, IL; and Michelle Divelbiss, Kenosha; also other relatives and friends. Jan was preceded in death by her father: Marvin Lindstrom; and brother: Jerry Lindstrom.
A private graveside service for family will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of Jan's cremated remains to be at St. Wendel Cemetery in Cleveland.
