Janet M. Haske, age 87, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life while surrounded by her children on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.

Janet was born on August 29, 1929 in Manitowoc to the late Joseph and Marcella Walters Tadych. She graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1948. On December 30, 1950, Janet married Wallace J. Haske of Rogers City, MI at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Survivors include Janet's husband of 66 years, Wallace; five children, Jeanne Haske of Manitowoc, Paula Haske of Denmark, James (Sharon) Haske of Rogers City, MI; John (Virginia) Haske of Algoma, and Gerald (Linda) Haske of Coleman; daughter-in-law, Judith Haske of Manitowoc; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; three brothers, James (Judy) Tadych, Joseph Tadych, and Thomas Tadych, all of Manitowoc; seven sisters, Shirley Reinke, Marion (Robert) Lindholm, Margaret (Malcolm) Shaw, Lorraine (Roger) Oswald, Nancy (Gary) Orth, all of Manitowoc, Germaine Hinze Miles of Appleton, and Ann Murray of Sheboygan; also other relatives and friends. Janet was preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael; brother, John "Jack" Tadych; and grandson, Adam.

Funeral services for both Janet and her husband Wally will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Waldo – 1121 North 14th Street, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier with entombment to take place at Knollwood Mausoleum. Following the funeral service, a luncheon will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. A prayer service will be led by Deacon Rich Bahnaman at 7 p.m. to conclude the visitation.
