Janice A. Klusmeyer, age 78, a Manitowoc resident, entered eternal life Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at her residence.
Janice was born on March 25, 1937 in Two Rivers. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Myrtle Kinnard Crabb. Janice was a graduate of Washington High School in Two Rivers with the class of 1955. She had been employed with Aluminum Specialty, Fox Hills, and Ken's Bakery. On October 11, 1958 she married John H. Klusmeyer in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on July 8, 2007.
She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law: James Klusmeyer Sr., Manitowoc; Joel and Linda Klusmeyer, Manitowoc; two daughters and three sons-in-law: Jacqualine and Terry Handl, Manitowoc; Jill and Scott Cochrane, Manitowoc; Russ Lau, Two Rivers; one brother and sister-in-law: Charles and Stella Crabb, Two Rivers; one sister and brother-in-law: Jane and John Polnow, Kirkland, IL; two sisters-in-law: Jane Brault, Manitowoc; Barbara (Richard) Laurent, Two Rivers; eighteen grandchildren: Nichole Abitz, Sarah Oakley, Stephanie Oakley, Ashley Oakley, Jonathon Oakley, Hope Konen, Makayla Lau, Jamie Bernetzke, James Klusmeyer Jr., Katrina Van Ess, Amanda Klusmeyer, John Klusmeyer, Joseph Klusmeyer, Kelly Jo Klusmeyer, Samantha Fuller, Juel Klusmeyer, Luca Klusmeyer, Corbin Klusmeyer; fifteen great grandchildren: Keiana, Paige, Camden, Ashton, Carma, Jada, Drake, Julius, Jasmine, Keith, Keegan, Jaxon, Hayleigh, Madison, and Caydence; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lawrence and Myrtle Crabb; husband: John Klusmeyer; one daughter: Julie Lau; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Lois and Richard Baes; May Lou and Robert Wypiszynski; one brother and sister-in-law: James and Nina Crabb; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ervin and Ethel Klusmeyer.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Deacon Rich Bahnaman with burial to take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc at a later date. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the services at 11 a.m. .
