Jaris Parnau, 21, a resident of Manitowoc, died unexpectedly on Thursday, February 25, 2021.  He was born on March 2, 1999 in Waukesha, the son of Tim and Heather Parnau.

He was a member of the Senior Class in the Bellin Health Registered Nursing Program and was set to graduate in May.  Jaris was currently employed as a bartender and server.

Jaris was an incredibly intelligent young man who had a natural ability to remember almost everything he read.  He was an outstanding football player who was extremely excited to be part of the Sheboygan SaberCats football team.  Jaris' hobbies included, lifting weights, gaming, hunting, cooking, traveling, music, playing cards, and watching the television show, The Office.

Jaris touched so many lives in the short time that he was here.

He will be deeply missed by all of his family, friends, teammates, and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Survivors include his parents, Tim and Heather Parnau; sisters, Savannah, Anicka, and Mira Parnau; grandparents, Tom and Lynn Parnau and Ed and Sandy Cox; uncles, Tom, Ben, and Sam Parnau; and aunts, Cara Parnau and Holly Cox.

A public visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Following the visitation, a reception for family and friends will be held until 3:00 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.  A private family memorial service is scheduled.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com .
