Jean Marie Naidl, age 70, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at the Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay.
Jean was born on August 7, 1954 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Helen Petska Naidl. Jean attended St. Paul Catholic School and Roncalli High School graduating with the class of 1972. She continued her education at Lakeshore Technical College graduating in 1973. From 1973 until 1986 Jean was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Holy Family Memorial Hospital and then from 1986 until 2013 she was employed at Holy Family Convent Health Clinic from where she retired due to poor health. Jean was active at St. Pauls' Catholic Church serving on the Youth Council from 1969 to 1971 and was the 2nd grade religious ed teacher for four years. Jean later served as the Community Service Director/Parish Council member at Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was the second grade CCD teacher for eight years and communion distributor. Jean enjoyed doing needle work, cross stich, and going shopping. Jean was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
She is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Linda Naidl, Menomonee Falls; two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Dianne Niquette, Kaukauna, Dorothy and Jack Reindl, Cedarburg, and Toni Zucchi, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Helen Naidl, one brother, Francis, one sister, Kathy Zucchi, one nephew, Bryan Reindl, two great nieces, one brother-in-law, Sheldon Niquette, dear friend, Nancy Hogue, and her four legged friends.
Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Grand, 1416 Grand Avenue, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Jason Blahnik. Relative and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Grand on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. A luncheon will follow at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel in Manitowoc with burial of her cremated remains to take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Kellnersville.
