Jeannette (Caruso) Cwiak, age 73, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2025 at her home.

She was born October 15, 1951 in St. Joseph, Michigan, daughter of Doris (Dix) Caruso and the late Adolf Caruso. Jeannette received an Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts and went on to become an accomplished entrepreneur, both in the United States and worldwide. She was a world traveler and lived in many different places including Belgium. Jeannette also loved to fish, especially in the northwoods with her husband Al.

Jeannette is survived by her loving husband of 55 years: Aloysius Cwiak; her daughter: Adrienne Cwiak (significant other: Jane Lin); her mother: Doris Caruso; and two siblings: Laura (Erik) and Carlos (Cindy). Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and private family services will occur at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Jeannette's memory to the ASPCA or to the Lupus Foundation of America.
