Jeffery K. Arndt, age 73, of De Pere, WI, passed away on July 5, 2026. Jeff was born in Manitowoc, WI on December 15, 1952. He graduated from Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the Class of 1970.

In 1972, Jeff enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Nuclear Weapons Electronics Specialist, and was honorably discharged in 1974. Following his service in the Army, Jeff became a journeyman electrician and worked for many different companies throughout his career. His final place of employment was with the Kewaunee Nuclear Power Plant, where he worked for over 20 years as an Electrician 1st Class, Leadman, and Crew Leader. He installed and maintained the electrical systems indigenous to operating a Nuclear Generating station. He retired in 2013.

Following his retirement, he was able to fully continue his passion of buying, collecting, and selling antique radio vacuum tubes. His passion would take him all over the country where he would partake in radio shows interacting with other collector friends.

Jeff is survived by his children Eric (Naomi) Arndt, Rebekka (Jason) Heinzen, Tasha (Brian) Karstaedt, and Katrina (Aaron) Schwarzenegger; nine grandchildren; sister Janis Arndt; as well as other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Adam Arndt, as well as his parents and grandparents.

The family will be holding a private service at a later date.

If desired, memorial donations may be made in Jeff’s name to Disabled American Vets (dav.org) or Antique Wireless Association (antiquewireless.org).

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Bellin Hospital of Green Bay especially those in the ICU and on the 8th floor, for their compassionate care.
