Jeffrey A.
Bathke
August 11, 1962 – December 26, 2024
Jeffrey A. Bathke, age 62, a resident of St. Nazianz, passed away following a long, courageous battle with cancer, and with his loving family by his side, on Thursday, December 26, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.
Jeff was born on August 11, 1962 in Manitowoc to Ruth (Wehausen) Bathke and the late Lester Bathke. He graduated from Manitowoc Lutheran High School with the class of 1981. On September 16, 1989, Jeff married Bamba Stahl at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in the Town of Liberty. In 1994, he started driving truck for Primary Transportation in Brillion. After his first bout with cancer 13 years ago, Jeff began working for Braun Electric. That said, his heart was always into farming because of growing up on the family farm. Jeff was a kind and giving man that was always there to help others, whether it was housing projects or donating his time to create extravagant floats for the Manitowoc Parade. He was an avid outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jeff also loved taking his grandson to Kwik Trip for donuts and cookies. Every Saturday, he would also pick up a hotdog for his beloved dog, Chester. He was a member of the Ant Hill Mob and was a volunteer for Relay for Life.
Survivors include Jeff's wife of 35 years, Bamba; loving daughter, Nicole (Gary) Bathke; grandson, Xavier Bathke; mother, Ruth Bathke, Little Chute; five siblings, Gregg (Cheryl) Bathke, Greenville; Dale Bathke, Cleveland; Jennifer (Mark) Hostettler, Berlin; Julie Johnson, Kaukauna; and Amy (Corey) Mikolajczak, Little Chute; also nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Lester Bathke; and brother, Todd Bathke.
