Jeffrey W. Klein, born August 12, 1961, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026 in Green Bay. He was the beloved son of Howard and Elaine (Ruelle) Klein and grew up in Two Rivers, where he graduated from Riverview High School. Jeff lived a life marked by kindness, steady dedication, and a gentle spirit that touched everyone who knew him.
Jeff worked with pride at Ascend Services and Parker Hannifin, he was also a Rest Area Attendant who was dedicated to maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all visitors. He loved staying active—whether participating in Special Olympics, bowling league, or riding his bike around town. Jeff found joy in visiting with family and friends, lending a hand with projects, and helping build or fix anything he could. He appreciated a good meal, good company, and the simple satisfaction of a job well done.
Those who knew Jeff remember him as a calm, patient soul who would help anyone without hesitation. His presence brought comfort, and his steady reliability made him a cherished part of his community and family.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Elaine Klein; sister, Judy Klein; special friend and cousin, Butch Ruelle; loyal companion, Wrinkles, who shared hot dogs with him daily; and many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his brother, John Klein, Manitowoc; niece, Suzanna (Dennis) Bunell, Elkhart Lake; aunt, Bernice Mason, Manitowoc; and Chris and KatieJo Drumm, Kellnersville; along with Maez, Lillyan, and Cyrus – all who held a special place in his heart. Jeff is further survived by many cousins, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A Life Celebration Social for family and friends will be held from Noon to 5 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of Jeff’s cremated remains to be held at Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers at a later date. The family extends a heartfelt thank‑you to Linda Haanen and all the staff at Turner Group Home for their years of care, compassion, and support. Deep appreciation is also given to Unity Hospice for their kindness and comfort during Jeff’s final days.
Jeff’s life was one of quiet generosity, steady love, and simple joys. His memory will continue to inspire kindness in all who were fortunate enough to know him.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Crematory, North 11th and St. Clair streets, Manitowoc is assisting the family with arrangements.
