Jenny Lee (Brull) Waack, age 71, a resident of Manitowoc, met her Savior on Friday, May 5, 2017 at her residence while surrounded by her family.

Jenny was born on June 24, 1945 in Two Rivers to the late Alfred and Florine Brull. She grew up in Manitowoc and attended Manitowoc schools. On July 18, 1964 Jenny married Gary J. Waack in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death on May 4, 2013, just short of their 50th wedding anniversary. Jenny was an active member at Hope Community Church and had a love of doing mission work. Along with her husband, she founded Christian Friends of Ecuador. She was a loving homemaker throughout her life and worked part time at various positions, including manufacturing, assisted living and various restaurants in Manitowoc. Her hobbies included reading, baking, cooking, and spending quality time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as extended family.

Survivors include two daughters, Amy (Rob) Bartz, Manitowoc, and Jodie Orth, Two Rivers; five exceptional grandchildren, Erik Turner, Rosie (Kotto) Fuller, Jacob (Chrystal) Fuller, Adam Jasper, and Reed Bartz; two step-grandchildren, River and Forest Bartz; great-grandchildren, Parker Turner, Jeremiah, Isaiah, Zameria and Jania Denson; sisters and brothers, Audrey (Ken) Broehm, Tom Brull, Clare (Jay) Geisler, Joe (Kim) Brull, and Barb (Ben) Vasquez; sister-in-laws and brothers-in-laws, Gwen Brull, Lois Brull, Margaret (Mark) Hinds, Steve (Joan) Waack, Ray Streckert, and Robert (Cheryl) Streckert; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; and also her beloved dogs, Angel eyes and Molly, who will miss her dearly. Jenny was preceded in death by her husband, Gary; parents, Alfred and Florine Brull; grandson, Hunter Jasper; two brothers, Ronald and Donald Brull; father-in-law and mother-in-law; sister-in-law, a godchild, Gabriel Vasquez, and a niece, Cynara Brull.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Hope Community Church, 4408 County Road B, Manitowoc with Rev. Marcus Constantine officiating. Cremation will take place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel with burial of Jenny's cremated remains at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at Hope Community Church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at Noon.
