Jerome J. "Romy" Keehan, age 79, of 1623 South 17th Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life late Wednesday evening, April 27, 2011.

Romy was born on June 20, 1931 in the town of Franklin, Manitowoc County. He was the son of the late Lawrence and Christine Wilhelm Keehan Sr. Romy attended Mishicot High School graduating with the class of 1949. He was employed with Burger Boat from 1953 until his retirement in 1997. On June 19, 1954 he married Marian C. Neuser at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Marian; 5 children: Mark (Wendy) Keehan, Brookfield, WI; James Keehan, Manitowoc; Jerome G. (Lynn) Keehan, Manitowoc; Anne (Patrick) Plekan, Manitowoc; Mary (Brian) Repitz, Kewaunee, WI; twelve grandchildren, two brothers: Larwence (Joan) Keehan Jr., Manitowoc; Gerald (Janice) Keehan, Manitowoc; three sisters: Dolores Remiker, East Troy, WI; Jeanne (Richard) Guenther, Waukesha, WI; Lois (Larry) Waack, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Edward Keehan; three sisters: Margaret Noack, Carolyn Kohlbeck and Donna Keehan.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand from 9:30 AM on Saturday until the time of services at 11:00 AM.
