Jesus "Jesse" Alcorta of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, March 18, 2021.

He was born on February 15, 1939 in Laredo, TX to the late Jesus and Maria Dolores (Mendiola) Alcorta.  Jesse completed 8th grade in Laredo and then came to Manitowoc in the mid 50's where he worked at Lakeside Packing Company.   He began work at Hamilton Industries in 1963 from where he retired at age 62, in 2001.

Jesse is survived by his three children; Jesse J. (Page Smith) Alcorta, Centennial, CO., Lori A. Alcorta, San Antonio, TX., and Brijida (Ron) Linder, Wellington IL.; five grandchildren, Ethan (Ayssa), Linder, Paxton IL., Mercy Linder, Hoopeston IL., Jaylyn Linder, Lincoln IL., and Camilla and Xander Linder, Wellington IL., great-grandson, Layton Thomas Linder, Paxton IL., also extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Maria Dolores Alcorta; beloved grandmother, Brigida Trevino Alcorta; aunt, Dionica Trevino, as well as his great grandson, Lucka and other relatives.

A Life Celebration Social for relatives and friends will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome
