Joanne M. Griebling, age 76, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Tuesday morning, August 14, 2018 at the Atrium Post Acute Care in Two Rivers.

Joanne was born November 10, 1941 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Evangeline Behnke Budnik.  Joanne attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1960.  She was employed with the Manitowoc Clinic for over 36 years retiring in 2000 due to poor health.  On October 11, 1962 she married James L. Griebling at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Manitowoc.  Joanne was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.  She enjoyed following NASCAR and playing cribbage.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years: Jim; two children:  Jeff Griebling, Manitowoc; Cheryl (Rob) Lammers, Humboldt, Iowa; two grandchildren:  Nolan and Aiden; two sisters:  Bette (Roger) Coen, Charlevoix, MI; Barbara (Jerome) Wagner Jr., Francis Creek; nieces, nephews along with other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Evangeline Budnik.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo,1121 North 14 ^th Street, Manitowoc.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dave Pleier.  Entombment will take place at Calvary Mausoleum in Manitowoc.  Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Waldo from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.  Following the services at the church there will be a luncheon held for relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 N. Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home.
