th
. He had worked at Weyerhaeuser for many years and most recently as a bus driver for the Manitowoc School District retiring two years ago to enjoy time with his wife. Joe had a wonderful sense of humor (or he at least thought he did), he loved telling jokes and making people laugh. He enjoyed playing cribbage, camping, cooking, helping everyone, and spending time with family and friends. His biggest love was Jesus, and shared Him with others through: Church in the Woods, going to nursing homes to preach and talking with residents, and living out the love of Christ in all he did.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Christine Boyle of Marinette; brother, Al Boyle of Manitowoc; sisters, Linda (John) McIntyre of Emmet, MI and Mary Jo (John) Selander of Gladstone, MI; brother in law, Jimmy Kubnick of Florida; aunt, Vi Moehrke of Lake Linden, MI; special friend, George (Diane) Radke of Manitowoc; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is further survived by many friends he considered family; adopted by many, especially, Markus and Coreen Christel. In addition to his wife, Cathy, he was preceded in death his parents, Delle (Kathy) Boyle and Betty (Ken) Erickson; sister, Marcia Vertin; and two brothers-in-law, Donn and Jimmy Kubnick.
