John "Rick" Gerarden, 70, De Pere, died Sunday, May 8, 2016. He was born July 5, 1945 to the late Harold and Mae (Keiler) Gerarden in Wisconsin. He was married to Leah Jerabek. Rick enjoyed bicycling and also riding his Harley Davidson.

He is survived by his wife, Leah; his son, Lane (Jodi) Gerarden; his daughter, Doreen Gerarden; two grandchildren, Taylor and Nikolas; his sister, Nona Dewane; two sisters-in-law, Donna and Sharon; nine nieces and nephews, Ricky Jo, Shelly, Teri, Debbie, Danny, Tommy, Joey, Quinn and Kevin; and his two beloved dogs, Jackson and Shirlie.

He is preceded in death by two brothers, Harold and James, a niece, Cory and a nephew, Randy.

A Life Celebration Social will be held for relatives and friends on Tuesday, May 17 2016 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, 620 North Water Street, Manitowoc, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. A prayer service will be led by Deacon Alan Boeldt at 6:30 p.m.
