John Richard Griesbach, 65, of Manitowoc, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County in Two Rivers.

He was born on October 1, 1957 in Manitowoc to the late John and Betty (Neuser) Griesbach.  John grew up in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1977.  He enjoyed playing baseball, softball, racing dirt bikes, and hunting.  He loved being outside riding his motorcycle or restoring one of the many Camaros that he worked on over the years.  John was a member of the Badger Heritage Club and the Antique Motorcycle Club of America (AMCA).  As an animal lover, John raised cattle, pigs, and chickens on his hobby farm, in addition to enjoying the companionship of his dog.  John was employed for many years as a machinist at Parker-Hannifin.

Survivors include his sons, Thomas Griesbach and Matthew Griesbach; siblings, Steven (Bonnie) Griesbach, Michael (Jeannene) Griesbach, Mark Griesbach, Kristine (Michael) Appel, Luke (Megumi) Griesbach, and Paul Griesbach; granddaughter and goddaughter, Mya Griesbach; and nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Betty Griesbach; twin-sister, Terri Towell; brother, Dave Griesbach; and loving dog, Shadow.

A memorial service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Deacon Steve Zimmer officiating.  Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.  Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel.  Online condolences to the family may be sent to www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com .
