John Michael Hoban found his peace on November 2, 2025, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, at age 81. John was born on May 28, 1944, to Mary (Schill) and John Hoban. He grew up in Osman and graduated from Kiel High School. After serving in the US Army, he returned to the area and was employed at Tecumseh Products for 45 years until the plant closed. He met the former Virginia "Ginger" Klepp at Tecumseh and were married on July 25, 1984, at St. Gregory Catholic Church in St. Nazianz. They resided in the Valders area. John enjoyed horseback riding, kayaking, building bonfires, working outside, and camping with his family. He was always willing to give a helping hand to anyone who needed it.

John is survived by his wife Ginger; daughter Kristine Hoban; step-children Bryon Faber, Alan Faber, Brenda (David) Ertel, and the late Debra Faber; grandchildren Brittany Murley, Brianna Christel, Brenna Faber, Samantha Duchow, Alex Faber, Brandon Ertel, Kendra Ertel, and Austin Ertel; and several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters-in-law Gale and Barbara, nieces, nephews, other relatives, special family friend Cheryl Diedrich, as well as other friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
