John F.
Levenhagen
July 20, 1951 – February 18, 2026
John F. Levenhagen, age 74, a resident of Manitowoc, took his final ride into eternity with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, February 18, 2026.
John was born on July 20, 1951 in Manitowoc to the late Fredrick and Eunice (Meneau) Levenhagen. He graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1969. On December 5, 1970, John married Marie Fruzyna at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc. John served his apprenticeship at Manitowoc Engineering and went on to work at many local machine shops as a journeyman machinist. After retiring in 2014, he worked parttime driving truck for Rush Logistics. John enjoyed listening to live music (especially the Dave Steffen Band), fishing, hunting with family, and especially riding his Harley. John enjoyed playing softball and umpiring, and was a longtime member of Kenny's Klub. He was a very thoughtful and kind person that found happiness in donating to others in need.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Eunice Levenhagen; two sisters, Judy Levenhagen and Kathy Janssen; niece, Amber Levenhagen; nephew, Matthew Erickson; and David Larsen. Also "chosen family" of Paul (Dorothy) Foreyt.
