Joshua R. Seefeldt, age 36, a Manitowoc resident, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at his home.

He was born June 12, 1987, son of Annette Soukup and Chris Seefeldt. Josh received his GED in Colorado and continued his education by studying sociology and psychology. On October 17, 2020, he married his wife Kelly at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church – Marshall Site. Josh owned and operated J & K Flooring in Manitowoc. He was passionate and highly skilled with all types of flooring work. Josh also enjoyed R.C. Cars and drones. Josh had a bright and shiny personality. He was a prankster and had the ability to make people laugh in any situation. Above all, he loved his family. Josh especially loved being a husband and a father.

Josh is survived by his wife: Kelly Seefeldt; four stepchildren: Jolei, Raven, Talyn, and John; his mother: Annette Soukup (James Tennant); his father: Chris Seefeldt; step-father: Kelley Dillenberg; step-mother: Jenny Seefeldt; father-in-law and mother-in-law: John and Arlene Vincent; siblings: Alisha Seefeldt (significant other Brad), and their children: Ashton, Jazalynn, Jasper, Keirdra, and Cameron; Jacob Dillenberg (significant other Cassie), and their children: Jayce and Alayah; Anastasia Dillenberg (significant other Jesse), and their children: Camden and Audrey; and Jayla (Soukup) DeSwartz; step-brother: Kyle Leiterman; paternal grandmother: Mary Seefeldt; very special friend: Brad Figg; and special aunts and uncles: Michelle "Mimi"and Jeff Spear, Aunt Chichi, and Aunt Tammy. Other Aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his sister: Ayla Dillenberg; grandparents: Robert Soukup, Janice Gauthier, and Ronald Seefeldt; half-brother: Tyler Seefeldt; two uncles: Jeff Seefeldt and Beaver; cousin: Jeremy Krahn; and Baby Finn.

Cremation has occurred at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory, Manitowoc, and a memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Road, Two Rivers, WI. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain. The funeral Mass will be livestreamed and can be viewed by visiting the St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church webpage or Facebook page. Following the Mass, a reception will be held for family and friends at the St. Peter the Fisherman Church Hall. The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Josh's name.
