Joyce M. Deeley, age 81, of Manitowoc, entered into eternal life peacefully on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center Manitowoc County.

Joyce was born on January 30, 1943, in Sheboygan to the late Edward and Sally (Beck) Wilhelm. In 1961 she graduated from North High School in Sheboygan. Joyce went on to attend Lakeshore Technical College where she graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1976. She worked at Sunny Ridge Nursing Home in Sheboygan for 30 years until her retirement. In her spare time, she loved going out shopping and eating out at local restaurants. Joyce loved cats and welcomed many cats and kittens into her life over the years. She loved her grandchildren and great granddaughter very much and was looking forward to meeting her new great grandbaby. Joyce was a devoted member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Manitowoc.

Survivors include Joyce's daughter: Denise (Tom) Blashka; grandchildren: Samantha (Patrick) Deeley-Burke, Jack Blashka (Carmela); great granddaughter: Ireland Burke; sister: Darlene (Bob) Schroeder. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents: Edward and Sally Wilhelm; brother: Eddie Wilhelm; and former husband: Timothy Deeley.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N. Water Street, Manitowoc, on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Doug LeCaptain. Joyce's family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:30 a.m. A luncheon for family and friends will be held following the service at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center, located on the south property of the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home at 620 N. Water Street.

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made in Joyce's name to the Lakeshore Humane Society to go toward the care of the many cats looking for homes.
