Juan "Carlos"
Valdez
July 21, 1993 – December 31, 2021
Juan "CARLOS" Valdez, age 28, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Friday, December 31, 2021 in his home. Carlos was born in Manitowoc on July 21, 1993 to Elsa Valdez. Carlos was a great son, father, brother, uncle, and friend.
He was the spontaneous one of the family, a bit of a daredevil, always up for a challenge, loved to pull pranks and make jokes. He also liked working on vehicles, fishing, playing sports, board games, watching movies, and enjoyed making breakfast for his family. Carlos enjoyed going out to the farm to feed animals and ride around on the horses with his uncle Jose "Guero," having coffee with his mom, his special Starbucks dates with his other half, and most of all, taking long rides on his motorcycle. Family was very important to him. He always cherished the time spent with his children, fiancée, mother, sister, brothers, niece, and nephew. Carlos attended Lincoln High School in Manitowoc and also took college courses at Marian University in Fond du Lac. During high school and for some time after, he worked in farming in the Manitowoc County area. More recently he was employed with Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry with his brother as a 32 Operator.
Survivors include his mother, Elsa Valdez; brothers, Daniel (Reyna) Valdez and Josue (Erica) Valdez; sister, Carla Valdez; niece, Zariana and nephew, Zaiden Valdez; fiancée, Ashley "Vieja" Jaimes; children, Juan, Jullean, Anabella, and a daughter expected in the next couple of weeks; grandmother, aunts, uncles, and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Antonio Valdez. Carlos had a smile that was contagious and a laugh that will be truly missed.
