Karen A. Carlo

Karen A. (Kuehnl) Carlo, age 84, of Manitowoc, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at River’s Bend Health Services.

Karen was born on February 4, 1942, in Manitowoc, to the late Frank and Leona (Hastreiter) Kuehnl. Karen and her 10 siblings grew up in Manitowoc, and she graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1960. Karen was a huge animal lover and had a special place in her heart for cats. Life was never dull with Karen around and her spunk will be missed by everyone who loved her.

In accordance with Karen’s wishes, a private family celebration will be held.

In lieu of flowers, Karen’s family would appreciate donations to the Lakeshore Humane Society in her memory.
